The Pinner IVs

John, Lundie, Jack & Sabian

Seasons Greetings from the Pinners!

Happy holidays! Time for a quick summary of the year. It can be difficult to come up with things to say that haven't already been shared on Facebook as it happened. So, perhaps this is just a chance for me (Lundie) to reflect on the year and look for landmarks.

It was a decent year, as years go. Jack finished up 3rd grade this spring, and is now in 4th. When he's not Minecrafting, he's swimming at the Y, practicing piano, or working toward his next belt in Shotokan karate.

I celebrated my first anniversary at Aleyant. Love the job, love the people. Looking forward to more years with them.

For those who have known me for a while, you'll know that the haircut I got this year was a pretty drastic change. Love it. Don't know if I'll ever grow it out again. We'll see!

John once again took part in the L.A.T.E. Ride in Chicago, and ran another Rugged Maniac with his friend Nathan. Lately he's been spending time doing "music-ish" things down with his array of drums, guitars, keyboard and recording paraphernalia.

Late this summer we took a week-long vacation with the extended Pinner family. John's folks picked out a great resort up in Wisconsin Dells for us to stay in and enjoy several different parks and tours. John's older sister was in from Alaska with her two boys, and his younger sister brought her daughter and son. The cousins had a great time together.

Last but not least, John and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary in November. We treated ourselves to a mini-staycaytion and thoroughly enjoyed it.

I guess that pretty much sums this one up. See ya next time!
